Whether you’re preparing for a hospital birth, home birth, medicated, unmedicated, or anything in between, we’ll equip you to feel confident, informed, and empowered—offering advocacy tools, evidence-based education, comfort measures, and partner support.

Meet Ciara King
I am Ciara King, the founder of Kingdom Beginnings. I am a devoted follower of Jesus, a wife, and a mother to three wonderful children. I am blessed to also have the opportunity to homeschool my children and give each of them individualized care to meet each of their unique needs and interests! My journey as a doula began after experiencing the incredible support of a birth doula during my own pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum experience and getting to thrive from the intensely positive impact a doula can make, not only in the birth space before, but before and after as well. I've had a heart and passion to serve my entire life and am so blessed to be able to be empowering mothers with my personalized doula services. When I founded Kingdom Beginnings Birth Services, I intentionally chose a name that honored the One who made it all possible—God—while leaving room for growth beyond myself. From the very beginning, I envisioned a collective: a team of birth professionals with diverse gifts, united in service and faith, reaching families across Minnesota. Today, I’m honored to say that vision is taking root—Kingdom Beginnings is now a growing collective of birth professionals. This work, this calling, and every opportunity to serve families is only because of God’s faithfulness. Kingdom Beginnings is more than a business; it’s a ministry, birthed from a desire to honor the Lord in every step, and to help families see His goodness and presence in one of life’s most sacred seasons.
